How To Fix The eM Client Error Messages?

In general, error messages are common in email clients such as eM Client, Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, etc. In most cases, the errors are due to improper server configuration and poor Internet connection.   • Step 1: On your Windows computer, launch the eM Clientapp and click the Menu button at the top-left corner.
  • Step 2: Select the Toolsoption followed by Accounts from the drop-down list.
  • Step 3: In the Accountswindow, select the email account in which you are facing the error from the left-side panel and click the General 
  • Step 4: Check the email address, password, and other email settings.
  • Step 5: Go to the SMTP tab and verify that you have entered the correct outgoing mailserver name, encryption type, and server port.

  • Step 7: Move on to the POP3or IMAP tab and check the incoming mail server settings.
  • Step 8: Clickthe OK button and restart the eM Client app.
  • Step 9: Check if the issues are resolved. If not, update or reinstall eM Client
  • Step 10: If an error message indicates that the database is corrupted, click the Menubutton at the top-left corner and select the File tab from the drop-down list.
  • Step 11: Click on Restoreand restore the backup data.
  • Step 12: If you cannot access your eM Client app or restore the backup data, close the app and open the File Exploreron your Windows computer.
  • Step 13: Navigate to the ‘C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\eM Client’ file path and rename the database folder.
  • Step 14: Next, press the Ctrl + Alt + Delshortcut keys to launch the Task Manager. Go to the Processes tab and check for the eM Client or mailclient.exe process.
  • Step 14: Make sure to end the tasks associated with eM Client by clicking theEnd Processes 
  • Step 15: Finally, try sending a test email from eM Client.
  • Step 16: Now, the eM Client error messages should be resolved.
