Method 1: From The Notification Section

Enable Gmail Push In iPhone

  • Step 1: On your iPhone, open Settings.
  • Step 2: Tap Passwords & Accounts > Add Account > Google.
  • Step 3: In the given fields, enter your Gmail account address and password.
  • Step 4: Tap the Next button.

To close an app, perform the instructions given below.

On devices with the Home button: Access the recently used apps section by double-tapping the Home button. Locate the Mail app and close it by swiping it up.

On devices without the Home button: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Hold the screen when the Mail app is displayed. Now, tap and hold the app until a red X icon is displayed.
