- Step 1: First, check if the Apple servers have been down.
- Step 2: To do so, open the default browser on your computer and navigate to the official Apple site.
- Step 3: Check the System Status section.
- Step 4: If every service is indicated with a green icon, the servers are working fine.
- Step 5: If the services are indicated with a red light, wait for a few hours for them to restart.
- Step 6: Next, open the Settings app on your iOS device and tap on iCloud.
- Step 7: Read the terms and conditions of iCloud and verify your account.
- Step 8: Once your iCloud account has been verified successfully, you can connect to iCloud.
- Step 9: If the problem persists, go to Settings on your iOS device and tap on your Apple ID.
- Step 10: Select the Password & Security option and tap the Get Verification Code button.
- Step 11: Make sure that you have connected the iOS device properly to the local wireless network to avoid iCloud server error.
- Step 12: If you are using Macintosh, click the Apple menu available at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Step 13: Select the System Preferences option from the drop-down menu.
- Step 14: In the System Preferences window, click on your Apple ID and select Password & Security.
- Step 15: Make sure that you have enabled the Two-Factor Authentication.
- Step 16: Next, click the Get Verification Code button to verify your iCloud account.
- Step 17: This server error may also occur if you are logged into your iCloud account on multiple devices.
- Step 18: To fix this, log out from your iCloud account configured on all the devices.
- Step 19: In order to log out from your iCloud account on an Apple device, tap the Settings menu on the Apple device and tap on your Apple ID.
- Step 20: Select the iTunes & App Stores option.
- Step 21: Tap on your Apple ID available at the top of the screen and select the Sign Out option from the pop-up menu.
- Step 22: This will fix the iCloud server error on your device.
