How To Set Up Netzero Email Settings>

Follow the steps provided below to set up your Netzero email settings on an email client.

Microsoft - Windows Live Mail:

Step 1:On your computer, open Windows Live Mail. Near the bottom section of the left window, click the Add e-mail account option.

Step 2:In the boxes provided, type in your NetZero e-mail address and password. Also, type the name that you wish to be displayed on your e-mails.

Step 3:Next, select the Remember password checkbox. This step is to make sure that you do not have to enter your password each time you sign in to check your emails.

Step 4:Select the checkbox next to Manually configure settings for e-mail account. Click on the Next button.

Step 5:Now, ensure that you have chosen POP3 as your incoming mail server.

Step 6:In the incoming server field, enter pop.netzero.com. Next, select the checkbox next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL). Confirm that 995 is set as the Port number.

Step 7:For the outgoing server field, enter smtp.netzero.com. Now, select the checkbox next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL). Confirm that 465 is set as the Port number.

Step 8:Finally, select the checkbox beside the Requires authentication option and then click the Next button.

Netzero Email Settings For Apple-MacMail:

Step 1:First, start the Mail app and then click the Mail option.
Step 2:Next, choose the Preferences option.
Step 3:Select the Accounts option and then click on the Add Account button.
Step 4:From the options provided for the Account Type field, choose POP.
Step 5:In the e-mail address box, type in your full NetZero email address.
Step 6:Now, in the Full Name box, enter your name.
Step 7:Next, in the Incoming Mail Server box, type in pop.netzero.com. Enter 995 as the Port number.
Step 8:In the User Name box, type in your complete e-mail address.
Step 9:In the Password box, enter your account password.
Step 10:Now, from the Outgoing Mail Server menu, click on Add Server.
Step 11:In the Outgoing Mail Server box, type smtp.netzero.com. Enter 465 as the Port number.
Step 12:Select the checkbox next to the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) option.
Step 13:Select the checkbox beside the Requires authentication option and then click the Next button.
Step 14:Click on the OK button.
Step 15:Click OK once more.
Step 16:Finally, close the Accounts window.
