How To Set Up Peoplepc Email Settings?

The PeoplePC email settings for incoming and outgoing server are given here.

  • Step 1: Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) - imap.peoplepc.com
  • Step 2: Incoming Port Number (IMAP) - 143
  • Step 3: Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtpauth.people.com
  • Step 4: Outgoing Port Number (SMTP) - 587

Microsoft Outlook 2013:

  • Step 1: Start the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client and choose the Account Settings option from the Account Settings drop-down menu.
  • Step 2: Navigate to the Email tab, click the New option, and select the Email Account option followed by the Next option.
  • Step 3: Now, select the radio button beside the Manual setup or additional server types option and click the Next option.
  • Step 4: Choose the POP or IMAP option and click the Next option.
  • Step 5: The POP and IMAP Account Settings dialog window will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6: Provide valid details in all the fields.
  • Step 7: If necessary, you can select the checkbox next to the Remember Password option.
  • Step 8: Click More Settings at the bottom of the screen, go to the Outgoing Server section, and choose both the options mentioned here.
  • Step 9: My outgoing mail server requires authentication
  • Step 10: Use same settings as my incoming server
  • Step 11: Go to the Advanced section, type 587 in the Outgoing Server (SMTP), choose TLS from the ‘Use the following type of encrypted connection’ drop-down menu.
  • Step 12: Click OK -> Next -> Finish-> Close.
  • Step 13: This will add the PeoplePC email account to the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client.

PeoplePC email settings For Thunderbird:

  • Step 1: Open the main interface of the Mozilla Thunderbird email client on your computer.
  • Step 2: Click the Options option followed by the Account Settings option and select Account Options -> Add Mail Account.
  • Step 3: The Mail Account Setup dialog window will appear on the screen.
  • Step 4: Give the required details in the Your Name, Email Address, and Password fields.
  • Step 5: Select the Remember Password checkbox and click the Continue option.
  • Step 6: Select the radio button beside IMAP or POP3.
  • Step 7: The Thunderbird email client will add the Peoplepc email account automatically with the provided server settings.
  • Step 8: Select the Done option to finish the email configuration.

PeoplePC Email Settings For iPhone:

  • Step 1: Tap Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Add Account -> Other -> Add Mail Account.
  • Step 2: Select IMAP or POP and then enter the valid details in the Name, Email, Description, Host Name, User Name, and Password fields in both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections.
  • Step 3: If the Cannot Connect Using SSL dialog box appears on the screen, select the Yes option.
  • Step 4: Complete the PeoplePC email settings for an account by tapping the Save option.
