Solution 1: Check If You Can Access Rediffmail On The Web

  • Step 1: On your Windows computer, open the default browser (Google Chrome) and navigate to the Rediffmail Sign-In page.
  • Step 2: Enter your login credentials in the required fields and click the Login button to access your account.
  • Step 3: If you aren’t able to access your Rediffmail account, check for the service outage.
  • Step 4: If there is no problem from the email service provider’s side, proceed with the steps that follow.
  • Step 5: Clear your browser cache. To do so, click the More icon available at the top-right corner of your browser window.

  • Step 1: If you have configured your Rediffmail account on Outlook Express, check the server settings first.
  • Step 2: To do so, launch the Outlook Express app and click the Tools menu.
  • Step 3: Select Accounts and choose your Rediffmail account by clicking on it.
  • Step 4: Click the Properties button available on the right and select the Servers tab.
  • Step 5: Verify whether you have entered the correct incoming and outgoing mail server names.
  • Step 6: The Incoming Server name is ‘pop.rediffmailpro.com’ if you have set up a POP account.
  • Step 7: Make sure that you have entered ‘smtp.rediffmail.pro’ as the outgoing mail server name in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) field.
  • Step 8: Check whether you have entered the correct email address in the Account Name field.
  • Step 9: Click the More Settings button and select the Outgoing Server tab.
  • Step 10: Ensure that the My server requires authentication checkbox is selected.
  • Step 11: Next, check whether the Use same settings as my incoming server option is selected.
  • Step 12: Click OK and deselect the Log on using Secure Password Authentication checkbox.
  • Step 13: Save the configured settings and check if the problem has been resolved.
  • Step 14: If the Rediffmail server not working problem remains unsolved, remove and re-add your Rediffmail account.
