Verify the server settings

  • Step 4: In the Advanced panel, see if the incoming and outgoing server ports are correct and also verify the encryption type for the security option.

Disable Firewall & Security software

  • Step 1: The firewall settings and the security software tool on the computer can block the mail service.
  • Step 2: Turn the firewall settings and remove the antivirus tool or protection program on your computer, and send the email again.

Scan for malware

  • Step 1: The Outlook email service stops if there is any virus or malware on the system.
  • Step 2: In that case, perform a full scan on the system and find the location of the malicious program.
