Config editor:

  • Step 1: Navigate to Tools on the Thunderbird email client, select Options -> Advanced -> General, and click the Config editor option.
  • Step 2: Deselect the ‘Show this warning next time’ option and click the I accept the risk option.
  • Step 3: As soon as the Config Editor window opens, search for ‘general.useragent.compatMode.firefox’ and change its value to True.
  • Step 4: After clicking the OK option, restart the Mozilla Thunderbird email client.
  • Step 5: Use the correct credentials to log into the email account, turn off safe mode, and restart the Thunderbird email client.
  • Step 6: Check if the error is resolved.
