  • Step 1:Once you move all the local messages from the POP account to the IMAP account, delete the POP account.
  • Step 2:You cannot undo this method. So, ensure that all the messages are moved to the IMAP account.
  • Step 3:Go to Tools, click the Account Settings button, and select the POP account.
  • Step 4:After clicking the Account Actions button, select the Remove Account option.
  • Step 5:This will remove the POP account from the Mozilla Thunderbird application.
