You can access your Verizon Yahoo email account from a web browser or using third-party apps. If you want to set up your email account in Outlook 2007, you can use the Verizon Yahoo email settings given below.

  • Step 1: Open the Outlook app, then click on the File menu.
  • Step 2: Now, select the Account Settings option from the displayed list. 
  • Step 3: Click the E-mail tab and select the New option.
  • Step 4: Select the Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or https radio button and then click Next.
  • Step 5: Check the Manually configure server settings or additional server types box and then click on the Next button.
  • Step 6: Click Internet E-mail followed by Next.
  • Step 7: The next window you will see is the Internet E-mail Settings window. Here, you will have to enter your account details.
  • Step 8: Select the Account Type as POP or IMAP under Server Information.
  • Step 9: Enter the incoming mail server address as incoming.yahoo.verizon.net.
  • Step 10: The outgoing email server address is outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net.
  • Step 11: Enter the Yahoo email address and password.
  • Step 12: Click the More Settings button and here you have to enter the port details of your email account.
  • Step 13: Type the Incoming port number as 995 for POP and 993 for IMAP.
  • Step 14: The Outgoing port number is 465.
  • Step 15: Choose the SSL option in the security section. Select the Authentication type.
  • Step 16: Now, click on the Test Account Settings button. Select Next. Click on the Finish option.
  • Step 17: Once you have entered the Yahoo email settings for Verizon, you will be able to use your email account.
  • Step 18: You will start receiving email messages in Outlook. You can also send emails from the Outlook application.
